In this 2009 “New Wave 2009” - the International competition of young executors will pass in the city-resort of Jurmala, concert hall Dzintari. Competition and concerts will be prolonged from July, 28th till August, 2nd. Heads of "New Wave" — Igor Krutoj, Alexander Shenhmanov and Alexander Rumjantsevev. In additional day, on August, 3rd, will pass gala concert of “New Wave” winners of last years. Then participants of this concert will go to tour on those countries which they represent. In festival will take part both Rajmond Pauls, and Alla Pugacheva. At opening Swedish group Roxette, and on closing - Dmitry Hvorostovsky and Anasteisha are supposed.
